If you have ever tried the lighter socket powered heaters you will know they do not work. This heater uses a power strip that connects directly to your battery so you can get enough juice to power a real heater. The heater puts out good heat and I like the added protection of the fused power strip. The quality seems to be pretty good, Ive only used it a few times so far but I plan on giving it a real workout this winter.

This heater works surprisingly well considering it's battery powered. It's not as powerful as my 110 volt heater at home but I am impressed with the heat it puts out.

I did a fair amount or research before buying this heater. I was initially looking for something that plugged into a lighter socket but after reading reviews of those products I realized they just dont have enough power. I ordered the starter kit that comes with the power strip and cable, it was really pretty easy to hookup and I have been very happy with the amount of heat it produces. Now that I have the power strip I may look at purchasing the Power Hunt grill.

I frequently pick my Son up from school and dont like to leave the engine running for heat while I am waiting. The 12 volt heater lets me turn the engine off and still keep warm, I like that I can unplug it from the power strip when I am not using it. It puts out a good amount of heat and the slim design allows it to fit just about anywhere I want to put it.
